I had a really bad day at work the other day. One of those days where you get thrown into mild depression and are so frustrated that you just don’t care anymore. Things aren’t going your way and you are ready to just walk out the door and never come back.
Hopefully these sayings will help you next time you find yourself going through a rough day. They worked for me.
Remember that stress doesn’t come from what’s going on in your life. It comes from your thoughts about what’s going on in your life.
Life is tough, my darling, but so are you.
Re-set, re-adjust, re-start, re-focus…as many times as you need to.
Stop feeling sorry for yourself. Stand up, dress up and make the decision to see things differently. You’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Take a deep breath, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again.
When you can’t control what’s happening, challenge yourself to control the way you respond to what’s happening. That’s where your power is.
You can’t calm the storm, so stop trying. What you can do is calm yourself. The storm will pass.
Nothing is permanent. Don’t stress yourself too much, because no matter how bad the situation is…it will change.
On particularly rough days when I’m sure I can’t possibly endure, I like to remind myself that my track record for getting through bad days so far is 100% and that’s pretty cool.
Don’t give up. You’ve still got a couple of motherfuckers to prove wrong.

Being negative only makes a difficult journey more difficult. You may be given a cactus, but you don’t have to sit on it.
Just breathe. You are strong enough to handle your challenges, wise enough to find a solution to your problems, and capable enough to do whatever needs to be done.
Give yourself an attitude adjustment and give them hell!
