These seem to be one of my more popular posts, so today I bring you even more awesome websites you need to check out.
If you need to catch up, below are the links to the previous posts.
Shityoucanafford.com – cheap gifts without sacrificing the awesomeness factor.
Freecycle.org – This site allows users to make a post for things they want to get rid of or for things they are looking for. Just find a group in your location and browse away.
Zerodollarmovies.com – Website lists full length movies that can be found on YouTube. You can browse by language or year. I was excited to see some Alfred Hitchcock movies listed.
Indulge Your Curiosity
tiii.me – OMG, I really love this one! Type in a show and it tells you exactly how many hours (days) you will need to binge the whole series.
Caffeineinformer.com/death-by-caffeine – Need to know how much of your favorite caffeinated beverage will kill you? This one is for you!
You.regettingold.com – Type in your birthday and you’ll receive various weird statistics to make you feel just how old you really are. It’s definitely worth a look.
Expand Your World
Duolingo.com – Yes, you can definitely learn a new language for free. There is an app as well as the website. J’etudie le francais depuis soixante jours. (I have been studying French for sixty days.)
Radio.garden – Click anywhere on the globe and listen to the local radio station.
Namechk.com -Enter your username at the top and it will highlight which websites that username is being used.
10minutemail.com – Want to sign up for something but want to avoid getting all the spam email sites send out afterwards. Use this site to get an email address that is active for 10 minutes and then it vanishes. That is more than enough time to sign up for something and answer a verification email.
Stilltasty.com – Enter food and it will tell you how long it is good for if kept in the refrigerator or the freezer. No more guessing or sniff testing.
Shipyourenemiesglitter.com – Exactly what it says. There are also some other gifts you can send to your nemesis, such as, a bag of dicks. I’m serious, check it out.
Progressiveshopper.com – If your political tendencies lean towards the Democratic side, this site will show you how much companies contribute to Democrats. If your tendencies are more conservative, I imagine this would be valuable information for you as well.
Quickdraw.withgoogle.com – Once they give you an item to draw, you have 20 seconds to draw it while the neural network tries to guess what it is. Got some time to kill, this is a good place to waste it.
