Welcome to Tea With Traci!
Hey there. I’m Traci. I live in Fort Worth, Texas with my amazing daughter and a cuddly rescue dog and a very, very, very salty cat.
I am the administrator for a local social group called Sarcastic Girlfriends. Watching ladies of all ages find genuine and supportive friendships through our group inspired me to want to reach out and bring even more people together, and that is what this blog is about.
I will be serving up encouragement, helpful tips and things to make your lives a little easier over a virtual cup of tea, if you will.
If you are someone who gets overwhelmed by responsibilities, needs a little humor throughout the week, has been known to flip off rude drivers, or is open to learn how to improve aspects of your life, you have landed on the right blog, cause I am so with you!!!
Please don’t be shy. Leave comments on any and all blog posts, because I’ll let you in on a secret, I need encouragement too.
I believe in the uniqueness of each person. Everyone has something they can add to the conversation.
A little bit more about me:
I have enjoyed my twenty-five year career as an executive/administrative assistant. It’s a field of work where you do something different each day, you can find endless ways to grow, and you have the opportunity to work in practically any kind of organization you want. And I have worked in quite the variety; gaming, wellness, psychology, adoption, food, retail, education and insurance.
I am a lover of books, movies, music and art. A friend once summed up my fashion style as “vintage meets punk” and I am definitely not mad about that. I enjoy things that are quirky, unique and non-traditional.
Life-long self-help addict, who is always seeking better ways to do things or improving some aspect of my life. I definitely do not have everything figured out, but damn if I don’t keep trying.
Fair warning, I do love a good curse word, so you will come across them from time to time.
I’m so excited you are here and I look forward to sharing a cup with you!
Traci
