I love Pinterest! (Feel free to check out my many boards by clicking here.)
One board titled “Fashion”, holds pins of everything I lust after that is beautiful, quirky, or cool.
But I also save pins that give me ideas on wearing something in a way that I might not have thought of before. And for a while now, I’ve been wanting to take some time to apply some of those ideas to my existing wardrobe.
Well, I finally played around in my closet for a couple of hours the other day, and I thought I would share my results.
Here are the ideas I picked to focus on:
- A graphic t-shirt under a blazer.
- A short sleeve t-shirt over a long sleeve shirt.
- A cami over a sleeved shirt.
- A shirt knotted over a dress.
- Using a dress as a top.
Here is a gallery of the looks that came out of that session.
This was actually a lot of fun! If you are bored with your wardrobe, you have to do this. I can’t wait to wear some of these.
I really wanted to show these by actually wearing them, but I was having a hard time holding the damn camera, finding the right light and nailing that model stance.
So, what do you think? Leave a comment below or better yet, take some pictures of what you come up with playing in your closet. Post them on my Tea With Traci Facebook page . I will be posting photos there as well, when I wear each of these.
Breathing new life into my wardrobe,
