I love Pinterest! (Feel free to check out my many boards by clicking here.)
My “Fashion” board holds pins of everything I like that is beautiful, quirky, or cool.
I also look for pins that inspire me to wear items in different ways or pair pieces together that I wouldn’t instinctively mix. For a while now, I’ve been wanting to take some time to apply some of those ideas to my existing wardrobe.
Happy to say I finally found that time. I ended up playing around in my closet for a couple of hours, giving me renewed appreciation for some of my clothes.
The ideas I picked to focus on:
- A graphic t-shirt under a blazer.
- A short sleeve t-shirt over a long sleeve shirt.
- A cami over a sleeved shirt.
- A shirt knotted over a dress.
- Using a dress as a top.
Here is a gallery of the looks that came out of that session.
This was actually fun! If you are bored with your wardrobe, you have to do this. I can’t wait to wear some of these.
I really wanted to show these by actually wearing them, but I was having a hard time holding the damn camera, finding the right light and nailing that model stance.
So, what do you think? Leave a comment below or better yet, take some pictures of what you come up with from your closet. Post them on my Tea With Traci Facebook page . I will be posting photos there as well, when I wear each of these.
